he hath preched many tymes, & yet he never preched agaynst  the usurped power of the Bushoppe of Rome, & set furth the kynges majesties supremicie, or at the lest every quarter of a yeare, accordynge to the kynges proclamations and letteres

pilgrimages

he hath been a grete setter forth of pilgrimages, fayned reliques, & other such superstitions, & yet never recanted the same accordynge to the kynges injunctions

he hath not declared in goinge of procession that better it were to omitt the letany, than the other suffrages folowinge, accordynge to the said injunctions.

Opon the sondayes, candlemas day, Ashwednesday, palme sonday & good friday, he hath not declared the true use of holy breade, holy water & other ceremonies used those dayes, accordynge to the said proclamations. In the tyme of his being at Chartam he dyd cast no holy water neither bifore the sacrament, not opon any aultar in the church, nor also bifore the crucifix in the rode loft, accordynge to the laudable ceremonies etc.

he christened iii children opon on day, & dyd not anoynt theym with holy oyle, neither opon the backe nor bely.

xvii. Orphewe, curate of Lyd, has preached many times, but never against the Bp. of Rome and set forth the King's supremacy, "or at the least every quarter of a year, according to the King's proclamations and letters." (2.) He has been a great setter forth of pilgrimages, feigned relics and other superstitions, and never recanted. (3.) He has not declared in going of procession that better it were to omit the litany than the other suffrages following, according to the King's injunctions. (4.) On the Sundays, Candlemas day, Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday and Good Friday, he has not declared the true use of holy bread, holy water and other ceremonies for those days, according to the proclamations.Thos. About All Hallowtide was twelve month he preached in St. Dunstan's beside Canterbury that men should love and fear God, but not trust Him too much. Wm. Laslynge, Mich. Wryght, Wm.
