what comunycatyon hath byn off any boke presentyd to your grace syth your cumyng to canterbury I remembre not. but that I herd mr parkhurst say that he delyveryd your grace a boke yn the cloyster. & mr gardener sayd that he had sent an other that dyd declare the truth as he sayd off matters. but what yt was I knowe not. & as they sayd they had sent sent & delyveryd them. so they trustyd that your grace wold favorably accept them.

To the viiith I say that I do know no man to have had conference with other upon matters except the comunycatyon that mr gardener mr parkhurst & I had on munday (as I declaryd by a byll sent to your grace) wych comunycatyon I trust was not contrary to our allegyance to the kynges mayeste.

Althoge at the suggestyon of mr gardyner ? mr sentleger & I dyd rashly subscrybe to certayn artycles wych whether they be presentyd or not I know not but by heresay.
